Low House Haven was a popular former Youth Hostel in Edmundbyers, County Durham. Since the new owners took over in October 2014 it has been completely redecorated and upgraded. It continues to provide clean, simple accommodation with a warm and friendly atmosphere. See our gallery for photos.

There are 31 beds arranged in rooms sleeping between three and eight; or a family room with king sized bed and 2 singles with private facilities.We have cots for little ones. Book a single bed, a room or the whole building.

Relax in the cosy sitting room with open fire, TV, books and games. There’s a sociable dining room, shared kitchen and drying room, lots of hot showers and reception area with local information, guides and leaflets.

Outside there’s secure bike storage, enclosed garden, hose pipe for muddy bikes and boots, and an excellent pub and village shop are a few steps away.

In the walled garden there are 8 camping pitches for tents plus more in the adjacent field, and coming soon, hard standing bays and electric hook-ups for touring caravans.

Low House Haven is a great venue for a big family get-together, a weekend with all your friends or a corporate event. From only £20 per person,per night, you can afford to stay longer.
